2026 Berks Summer Classic

After a thrilling inaugural season in 2025, the Berks Summer Classic is back—and bigger than ever. Last year’s four-team league lit up the rink all summer long, and we’re raising the bar with a goal of eight teams hitting the ice in 2026. Games will take place Friday and Saturday nights, making it the ultimate weekend hockey experience for adult players who live for the game. Start building your squad, bring the energy, and be part of the tradition in the making.

Season Overview

Season Dates: May 1 – July 31 (14 weeks)

Each team is guaranteed 10 games
9 weeks of regular-season play
2 weeks of playoffs (all teams qualify)
1 week of championship finals

Game Nights:

Games will be played on Friday or Saturday evenings

No Games Scheduled:

Memorial Day Weekend
Fourth of July Weekend

Registration Information

Registration Deadline: April 1, 2026

Entry Fee: $4,125 per team
(Based on a 15-player roster at $275 per player)

Team Captains are responsible for collecting and submitting all entry fees
Entry fees must be paid in full prior to the start of Week 1

Uniform Policy

All teams are required to wear matching uniforms and socks
If a team does not have uniforms, sponsored uniforms can be provided

USA Hockey Requirements

All players must have an active USA Hockey Membership to be eligible to play
USA Hockey membership numbers must be submitted prior to Week 1
All games will be officiated in accordance with the USA Hockey Rulebook

End-of-Season Awards & Events

League Championship Trophy awarded to the winning team
Most Valuable Player (MVP) Award
Most Valuable Goalie (MVG) Award
End-of-Season Party for all players and families
