Berks Classic Hockey Gears Up for 2026 Berks Summer Classic

Berks Classic Hockey is officially preparing for the 2026 Berks Summer Classic, building on the momentum of a successful inaugural summer league and aiming to establish a premier adult hockey league in Berks County.

Last summer marked the first-ever Berks Classic Hockey summer league, featuring four competitive teams and setting a strong foundation for future growth. The response from players and the local hockey community was overwhelmingly positive, and organizers are now looking to double the league’s size to eight teams for 2026.

Once again, the league will be hosted at the Body Zone Sports and Wellness Complex, providing a high-quality venue for competitive, well-organized hockey throughout the summer months. With an expanded field and a growing player base, the 2026 season is shaping up to be faster, deeper, and more competitive than ever.

Registration is now open for teams and individual players. Those interested in participating should reach out directly to Colby Moyer at berksclassichockey@gmail.com for registration details and availability.

Berks Classic Hockey is also seeking league sponsors to help support and grow the Summer Classic. Anyone interested in sponsoring—or who knows a business that may want to get involved—is encouraged to make contact and be part of the league’s continued development.

As planning continues, Berks Classic Hockey remains focused on building a prominent, long-term summer league that serves the Berks County hockey community. With expanded teams, strong local support, and a proven foundation, the 2026 Berks Summer Classic is poised to be the biggest season yet.
